By way of introduction, I am Robert Crockart, and recently purchased a vehicle from your dealership from Joel Sekwala.

I wanted to take special time to reach out to you about my experience when purchasing the vehicle. Honestly, I have never done this but felt that my experience with your dealership, and especially Joel, totally justified this mail. I have probably purchased around 15 vehicles over time, and this experience was just so unique and absolutely beyond what I would see as within the call of duty.

I am based in Dubai, and had to purchase the vehicle without personally seeing it or driving it. From the first day Joel just did not see anything as an issue, anything was resolvable. He drove out within a couple of hours of my first call to show the vehicle to my family, which is based on the other side of JHB. He did all the formalities of the purchase, and then arranged for the vehicle to be transported to the Eastern Cape. Never did I have to lift a finger to make the arrangements. On top of that he took a flight down to PE, to then personally register the vehicle and then delivered it to my doorstep in St Francis Bay (where somebody was waiting to receive it). I have never seen a person or a company go beyond expectations as Joel and your business did.

I hope Joel gets the necessary recognition for the commitment he showed to customer service and satisfaction. I was just super impressed. I also commend you and your business for the support you showed all the way to endorse Joel’s trip and the support to the final delivery.

We run a school transport company and we need our vehicles to be on the road consistently, unfortunately yesterday (11/7/2016) afternoon the Diesel Filter Unit packed up and we contacted Mr Farate for assistance and he went the extra mile to assist us, he immediately ordered the part and on receiving the unit today he came out to our home with a mechanic and fixed the Quantum and the vehicle was back on the road by 11:30 on the 12/7/2016.

Toyota Management

When I purchased the Toyota Corolla D-4D I was very concerned that it wouldn't be able to tow my caravan which weighs 750kg.

Well with much surprise it towers it with a dream. I towed at 110km/h on the freeway, most of the way in 6th gear, at about 2200 revs and got an average consumption of 8.2l/100km.

That is exactly the advise given to me by Bradley Appalsamy (sales person) at Toyota The Glen.

It is not often that you get a “WOW” experience when you get service in south Africa today – Service Excellence is often asked for or paid for and this to, not often delivered to its fullest.This is the reason why I am taking the time writing to you.

Just some background – my wife recently purchased a Groupon Voucher – yes a “discounted” Service voucher, I casually drove in at about 9:30am expecting to run around like a headless chicken, getting put on the “discount” list and not the “main” list as you do have regular customers of which I am not one.

From the moment I met Alan Davis in the morning until I picked up my car in the evening– every person that I met and interacted with has this service mentality and energy about them which is awesome.They truly have the blood of your company pumping through their veins and I commend your company for this.

From Alan Davis who was very professional and helpful, to your reception has the greatest smile and so well mannered, not to mention your drop-off and pick-up driver gentle giant; your security lady who discharged my car well-trained eye – it was the best customer service that I have ever experienced – maybe it’s because I went in not expecting much, but I can truly tell you that this is what is lacking in all facets of life in SA.

I don’t drink coffee regularly, but even your special free cappuccino was awesome…I couldn’t resist.

Please continue to be a shining example amongst the darkness in this country and don’t change anything even if you are forced to cut on costs –surely you will continue to have a great customer following…you have got me for sure!
